I didn't expect to see you so soon, who is with you Morning? You just missed the stars and the moon they told me they'd be back soon Good Morning. Heaven is Boring (free) 01:17
I know that I don't get a reward When I die. No invite to the empty Retirement home in the sky. Heaven is boring, In my own mind. Nothing interesting ever happens there.

One Millon Times (free) 04:24
Eyes are closed now, Kissed your back right before I got out of bed. Sometimes I think of how, you can see through and all is read. There is a fine line between most things... Do you know I am gone from your side? Try to write songs for me to sing, Try to express it, then try to hide. 1,000,000 times I wrote the same song, "I'm scared, confused... sorry I'm wrong." "For you, love, I long..." One more time I'll write the same god damned song.

Good Night (free) 04:12
Good Night. I'll see you in the morning light.

about

The third EP.

Written and recorded during the final months of 2003.

With each EP I tried to incorporate more structured ideas, more instrumentation, more layers and the like. The abstract songs on the EP are becoming more cohesive than the previous EPs. The song songs on the EP have a little more depth. Etc.

In this point of my music-life things were getting a bit more serious in my mind. I wasn't making EPs as birthday gifts, but because I wanted to create things... Create music I could share with the world.

In my life-life, things were falling apart.

This EP is supposed to represent a range of emotions, thoughts and ideas that usually occur in my brain on a normal day.

about

Shaun W. Detroit

Shaun W. (fka Matilda) is meant to be more of a musical documentation of life events rather than a marketable musical cash cow.

It is the mostly solo, ever changing, ongoing musical project of Shaun Wisniewski.
Songs are mostly folk-y and noisy. They also have flourishes of electronic beats, sound collage, and synth. For the most part the songs are poorly produced, and that’s fine.
